    Hm. So. No Raziel, no Kain, none of the characters that made the original worth playing/watching….aaaaand it’s an mmorpg where most likely a whole bunch of immature 12-year-olds will play. Wonderful. Suddenly I’m not really looking forward to the ‘next in the series’.

    I’m not sure why an LoK fan would be in any way interested in this. The writing, the world, the unique play mechanics, and the characters were the draw of the LoK series. This appears to have none of that. Squeenix isn’t going to win the hearts of the fans with this and it looks too generic and cheap to compete with the bigger mmorpgs so why would those unacquainted with the series care? As with most of what Squeenix does these days, I am mystified. With Amy Hennig long gone the series should have remained concluded - messily concluded but concluded - with Defiance/BO2. And that’s my two cents.
