To Zanarkand (Final Fantasy X)

The original is basically just a piano piece, and as iconic and beautiful as it is, I wanted to move away from that slightly in my rendition. So, I reduced the arpeggios into some jazz chords on the EP, and then moved the melody to the melodica (and later the synth). I wanted to keep some movement, so I layered synths with both the analog four and the prophet 08 to create a nice layer of atmosphere. I hope you enjoy it!

Crocheted Yuna doll from Final Fantasy X! I even made her a bow on the back of the yellow part, but I didn’t take a picture of the back. And it’s sort of covered by her hair anyway. I’m thinking about starting my own shop so message me if you have a request for dolls or anything really.

So I’m trying to get in the habit of speed painting on a regular basis, I asked my friend to name a random FFX character and he said Auron so I went with that. It was a tough to start cause I had no idea what I wanted to do with him, got something going after a bit (had to reset my timer a few times cause of that too). So after I finished I accidentally changed one of my layers properties and got something pretty cool out of it and went with it. This was a bit tough to do cause I tried to make Auron look like he was in his mid thirties but I dunno if I pulled that off well, still looks kinda young…  So about little over and hour of work on this.
