Super Mario Extreme Disco 2015

MowtenDoo:

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros! To commemorate the occasion 30 of us came together to bring you this collaboration!

Mario, the super hero of the Mushroom Kingdom, appears in an extreme disco club. Only this time instead of having to save the princess he is challenged to an electronic high speed DJ competition!!

Can Mario once again prevail and save the Mushroom Kingdom with some funky tunes?

“Dragon Warrior 1+2″

  • GamePro, October 2000 (#145)
  • It’s June! So this month I’d like to take a look at RPGs! But not any old RPGs: Japanese RPGS! It’s June RPGs! J-RPGs! Japanese RPGs! Okay so maybe I’m not that clever!
  • Let’s start off with the Game Boy Color’s ports of the original Dragon Quests, which they managed to ‘cram’ into one tiny cartridge. Also note the box art: 10 years later and they still couldn’t bring themselves to use Akira Toriyama’s art, so instead we got medieval versions of the Rice Krispies elves fighting off Reboot-caliber 3D models.

Dragon Quest VIII 3DS screenshots, comparisons

Here’s what the Dragon Quest VIII port for 3DS will look like when it releases in Japan (and, likely, nowhere else) this August. Not too bad, considering the portable hardware’s limitations! I’ve also included a couple comparison images of the original PlayStation 2 edition shot off a television by SheepyGuy – they’re the two non-watermarked scenes on the top right.

Gematsu has full details on the game translated from Famitsu: new features include new characters, new scenarios, and unannounced StreetPass features. Surprisingly, IGN says the game will not feature stereoscopic 3D support!
